Abstract

When I was a child and saw the movie “One Million Years B.C.” for the first time, I wasn’t so impressed by the character that made Rachel Welch a cinematic icon as much as discovering the superiority of primitive man in the fight against carnivorous dinosaurs. What a great thing intelligence is that allowed us to defeat those terrible beings! I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed when I later learned that humans did not coexist with any dinosaur and that the last of our ancestors who saw one of those beings alive might have been something like a squirrel.
