Abstract

The recent discovery of transmissible cancers, tumors capable of infecting other individuals through the physical transfer of living cells, reveals a good model to study the evolution of cancer and the interaction of cancer cells with their environment. Understanding the general mechanisms of cancer could be the first step to find a cure for this set of diseases called cancer.
