Abstract

This paper aims to analytically study the issue of respect focusing on its relevance within the moral philosophy. For this, we will focus on the perspective provided by Harry G. Frankfurt; subsidiary of the prior clarification made on the subject of egalitarianism. The Frankfurt´s theses will be, later, contrasted with the commentary
and the own disquisition about the issue of Joseph Raz. Finally, after analyzing the established dialogue, we will draw conclusions regarding the state of the matter and take position within it.
