Abstract

This work deals with the notion of metron in ancient philosophy. It will be analyzed, more precisely, the conception of two authors of Antiquity: Heraclitus and Protagoras, their relationship and the implication of this idea. Likewise, the proposal to interpret the metron, in both authors, will be presented, granting it the status of ontological foundation of the real.
