Abstract

The ignorance of the pieces and the prejudices inherited from the nineteenth century has created a strange relationship between art criticism and Picasso´s ceramics. However, the main problem is the absence of an appropriate analytical method for a discipline that has to be away from the approaches of ‘High arts’. Recently, the critical contributions have generated some models, which are interesting but incomplete. This article attempts to move toward a valid and inclusive methodological model.
