Abstract

Posters have been possible strong connections between two different
worlds, Art and Sport. The collection of bills published by Málaga University, increased every year with the intention of advertising sportive activities organized by this academic institution through its General Direction for Sports, raises several considerations about Art of Poster, sorts establisbed in it, subdivisions into them and function of bills as catchword of convocation for spectacle. Support of classical rhetoric and incidence of contemporary artistic movements into aesthetic, symbolical and iconographic language of the XX and XXI centuries universitarian sportive posters are also studied here.
