Abstract

Saint Peter in Brozas was a convent that belonged to the nuns of Alcantara's Military Order. This building started to be built at the end of the 16th Century and was finished at the end of the 18th Century. The Temple was seized and debunked in 1836. At the end of the 20th Century, the building was bought and transferred to Brozas' City Council to be used as Municipal Auditorium. The restoration and renovation of the building started in 2001 and continues nowadays.
