Abstract

The presence in Malaga of several paintings of the Mexican Guadalupe’s Virgin made in the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries distributed in churches, museums and private adresses, proves the relationships kept with the New Spain viceroyalty, that resulted in an interesting cultural interchanging process in which took part religious, artistic and social factors.
