Abstract

The presence of Astragalus geniculatus Desf. is confirmed in the Iberian Peninsula, and therefore in Europe. The recently described A. castroviejoi Talavera & Sánchez-Gómez is considered a synonym of the former species, and the main differences with regard to the rest of the Iberian species of the sect. Sesamei DC. are remarked.
