Resumen

Durante el peri?odo 1979-1988 los trabajos efectuados en el campo de la taxonomi?a, de la corologi?a y de la sociologi?a de los Brio?fitos han sido muy numerosos en la Peni?nsula Ibe?rica y, en menor grado, en Francia, Co?rcega, Italia, Cerden?a, Sicilia y Grecia.
En el Oriente Pro?ximo, las publicaciones recientes tratan esencialmente de brioflori?stica y conciernen, sobre todo, a Egipto, Israel, Jordania y ma?s accesoriamente a Li?bano. Por el contrario, en Africa del Norte, la exploracio?n briolo?gica detallada de los pai?ses del Magreb queda por emprender.
