Abstract

The legislative reform enacted in the death rattle of the year 2021, was conceived to provide the flexibility that the pandemic context required. In consequence, several legal institutions (such as temporary employment contracts) were extraordinarily modified, in order to adapt all those legal institutions to the socio-economic pandemic context. Consequently, this research focusses on the main reforms that the labour law system has experienced since the enaction of the legislative reform. More specifically, the centre of attention will consist of the abolishment of work and services temporary employment contracts and the modification on ERTEs legal regime, along with amendments to the seasonal employment contracts and collective agreements.
