About the Journal
ARTxt is an annual scientific-academic digital magazine that aims to disseminate the research generated in the field of Fine Arts, as well as the teaching and practice of current art. ARTxt was born with the vocation of creating a platform where researchers, professors and professionals of art theory and practice can disseminate the results of their research, as well as find a forum permanently open to any subject related to study, research, reflection, debate, innovation and experience of contemporary and current art.
Current Issue
Issue 5 of ARTxt addresses the Palestinian–Israeli conflict through an artistic, critical, and humanist perspective. Curated by Jesús Palomino, professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts and editor of the journal, this volume brings together reflections, artworks, and essays that affirm the role of art and culture as spaces of resistance, memory, and justice. From within the university, ARTxt reaffirms its commitment to freedom of thought and human dignity, offering a space for listening and dialogue in times marked by censorship, violence, and misinformation.
