Abstract

Teaching Notes was a questionnaire created by Paul Thek to teach at the New York Art School Cooper Union between the years 1978 and 1981. One of the straightforward tasks proposed by Thek was imperative: Design something to put in an altar. The students were invited to design a specific three-dimentional object conceived to be installed in a altarlike location. As we all know, an altar, is a place of meaning condensation and spiritual-personal request. Hence, following TheK´s suggestions, I am proposing this installation conceived specifically to articulate a site of meaning in relation to health and its recovery.
